In 2015 DRIVE Ltd. has performed health assessment of stationary diagnostic X-ray units Vision by Villa Sistemi Medicali S.p.A., Italy, in 10 Belarusian medical institutions, free of charge. Units older than 10 years were picked, serviced by DRIVE and other organizations as well. The hospitals received complete assessment reports, maintenance recommendations and fault certificates with repair costs estimates (you can read more of the procedure here). 3. Minsk Children City Hospital  has reviewed our offer to conclude 10-years old unit replacement not economically worthwhile. Contemporary and quality service through 10 years with little financial input has allowed for the working lifespan to be prolonged for another 3 years. All jobs were performed for free, with the spare parts paid for after the completion of the jobs, like all DRIVE clients with yearly service contracts have.  In essence, the medical institution has chosen comfortable  work on a well-known unit and significant budget economy due to:

• not purchasing new equipment, while securing the possibility to obtain high quality x-ray images;
• not performing costly x-ray room modernization: design, construction, moving jobs…
• not stalling the x-ray jobs for 6 months and more because of the installation and repairs.
